| The Associate Marketing Manager, Email Marketing drives the creative development, execution and analysis for selected segments in the Email Marketing program. Working closely with other members of the Email team, this person will play a key role in the development of the strategy to drive growth in their assigned segments of the business.
Responsibilities include: 1) Manages the execution of email strategies for assigned business segment(s) by translating business priorities into email strategies; ensuring alignment with the overall Marketing strategy; writing email briefs; and identifying potential improvements in customer segmentation, testing, and email creative. 2) Optimizes and improves email campaign performance by evaluating key trends and reporting metrics; comparing metrics to benchmark results; providing business owners with detailed performance reports for email campaigns; recommending data-driven changes; and improving cross-functional workflows and communications. 3) Participates with the email team in strategy development, process optimization, etc. |

| 1. Creative Development (30%) • Own the entire creative process for assigned segments/emails • Write creative briefs and set direction for Creative team • Consolidate and provide feedback from Marketing and Merchandising during the email development 2. Merchandising & Item Selection (30%) • Work closely with Category Marketing and Merchandising to select items and content for email campaigns • Identify and analyze email content for continuous optimization and improved customer experience • Manage item lists for assigned emails to be used by Creative and HTML teams= 3. Segmentation and Strategy (20%) • Propose strategies to develop deeper customer engagement within assigned segments and expose segment to new customers • Recommend and execute new segmentation ideas with email marketing and data teams • Identify testing strategies to improve customer retention and repurchase rates. 4. Reporting, Process improvement & Participation in team discussions (20%) • Become an active participant in team discussion about competitive landscape, trends, email strategy, etc… • Analyze and monitor email performance and share findings for assigned segments. • Suggest process improvements for email team as a whole |
